4th of July Parade

The Forsyth County Steam Association comes together each July in order to bring the Thomas-Mashburn Memorial Parade to our city square in celebration of Independence Day. With it comes a display of sights and sounds like none other! Their efforts work to carry on a tradition started by Glen “AG” Thomas in 1957. The 4th of July parade proudly showcases a unique collection of steam engines, antique cars, marching bands, local ball teams, firetrucks, celebrities and much more! It is truly an experience you will never forget, so load up some lawn chairs and bring the kids for an entire day of excitement!
