Third Quarter City Star Award Winners

The City of Cumming recognized its third quarter 2015 Cumming City Star winners and nominees during a recent luncheon at City Hall.

Members of the public and all City of Cumming employees are invited to nominate outstanding employees for the City Star Award, with each quarter focusing on different city departments. This quarter’s awards focused on the Police and Street Departments.

Nominees from the Street Department were Allen Cape, Daylon Gravitt and James Thomas, while nominations were received for the following Police Department employees: Tyler Burns, Officer Benjamin Haack, Jennifer Parker, Officer Tracy See-Holbrook, Officer Burrell Sullivan, and Sgt. Nathan VanBuren.

Daylon Gravitt was named the winner from the Street Department, while Officer Tracy See-Holbrook and Tyler Burns were both named winners for the Police Department.
Congratulations to all the nominees and winners!

Fourth quarter awards will focus on the Recreation & Parks Department, as well as the Cumming Fairgrounds and Playhouse.
