68th Annual Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade

July 4 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade is an annual July 4th tradition in the City of Cumming! Thousands of people line the streets in downtown Cumming to celebrate Independence Day.
The parade route travels south on Tribble Gap Road, starting at Forsyth Central High School (steam engines enter the parade at Woodland Drive, next to the Bank of America) and ending at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

Parade starts at 10 a.m. (arrive early for best viewing) and lasts approximately 2 hours. Parking is available in the two downtown parking decks, at Cumming City Hall, and in some business lots along the route.

Interested in being in the parade? Contact Cindy Hansard at 770-887-0516 (The City of Cumming DOES NOT organize the Steam Engine Parade; please contact Mrs. Hansard for information about being in the parade.)
