Within a mere year\, Gospel Music fans bestowed upon them the prestigious title of 2006’s Singing News Fan Awards Horizon Group of The Year. \nIn 2009\, their anthem “Big Mighty God” garnered a Dove Award nomination\, solidifying their standing as creators in Christian Music. SUMMARY:Atlanta BBQ Store Classic at Fairgrounds
DESCRIPTION:Join Atlanta BBQ Store for a BBQ event featuring professional BBQ competitors\, shopping\, vendors\, kids zone\, and more on Saturday\, Nov. 16th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cumming Fairgrounds! Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit The Place of Forsyth County. \nAdmission and parking are free. The public may attend the People’s Choice portion of the BBQ Event with a small donation to The Place in order to sample the BBQ Teams’ pulled pork.  This part of the event allows the community to get involved with the BBQ Contest and also helps benefit this local charity! \nSample tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Tickets will be available for purchase at the white Information Tent in the middle of the Cumming Fairgrounds and will be sold from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. or until teams run out of samples. Sampling will take place at 11 a.m. Sample tickets are non-refundable. Sample sizes and selection vary and are determined by each individual team. After the samples are tasted\, the public is encouraged to vote on their favorite sample.  Winners will be announced on the main stage at the BBQ Awards Ceremony at 5 p.m. \nIn the event of inclement weather\, vendors and activities will move to the Fairgrounds’ Covered Arena.
